The only thing that is going to save Internet radio is if musicians give up on the notion of selling their music to evil corporations and embrace the Internet as the first and foremost distribution venue for their recordings. The evil corporations can control only that music which we (the music-making public) allow them to control by signing our rights over to them.

I am of the opinion that the music industry as currently exists is impossible to remediate. It is evil, corrupt, and rips off all but a few dozen musicians who are popular enough and have enough lawyers to rip some small part of their money away from the greedy bastards. It needs to die. And I am happy to see that it *is* dying. Good. Good riddance. Once it's gone, maybe something can take its place that isn't so ass-fuckingly evil.
