The Clinton campaign says their candidate doesn't just talk about change, she makes it happen. And it's true: She's changed her position on Obama several times in the last three days. First, he was "too liberal." Now he's not liberal enough, and a betrayer of abortion rights too. Except that, unfortunately for her, everybody now knows that charge is a lie.
Not a distortion. Not an interpretation. A lie. It was debunked last month by the Times in an article about Obama that was not particularly flattering overall. Apparently Clinton can make the truth "change," too.
Obama was going to vote against those bills limiting choice, but abortion activists asked him to vote "present" as part of a broader strategy. Obama's rating from Planned Parenthood in Illinois? 100%.
The money quote, from the Director of NOW's Chicago Chapter:
"This is offensive. I am pro-choice, pro-truth, pro-Hillary - in that order. And questioning the latter. I am very disgusted by this tactic being used by the Clinton campaign."
So even a Hillary supporter is disgusted. " "Barack Obama is and always has been there for the choice community. I know - I was there with him in the trenches," she said.
But those dishonest fliers are still behind screen doors all over New Hampshire. This is how the Clinton campaign responds to an opponent who's winning on the message of 'change' and new-style politics: by acting like Akim Tamiroff in "The Great McGinty."
Have you noticed how Clintonista bloggers are now blaming it all on Mark Penn? But it's as Mark Kleiman says: "The very same unfailing judgment of talent and character that got the Clinton campaign Mark Penn as its ringleader would also be at work picking cabinet officers in a Clinton White House."
Or, as I said earlier, this campaign is only the second time we've seen Sen. Clinton in an executive role. How's that working out so far?
I thought it was obama who is criticizing clinton for voting for "political" reasons. To say I voted against my will to satisfy a lobbying group is cowardice not change. T

You talk about negative attacks on Obama by Hillary, you must not read article on the Obama web site Huffingtonpost.
People just post any d... thing they wish as the truth and it is ok.
But talk about BS and propaganda when you attach Hillary to Rove you are getting as low as you can with you deceit and propaganda.
I like Edwards and Kucinich and YOU talk about low balling someone they have been kicked around because of their straight forward attacks on corporations and the Bush administration and not a d... person comes to their aid.
In fact NBC just changed their rules of letting a 4th place democratic candidate, "Kucinich" on the democratic debate and Obama or Hillary did not come to his aid.....

Planned Parenthood endorsed rape guerney Joe. Their word, on anything, means absolutely nothing to me. Not to say this particular story isn't wrong, but PP has zero credibility on abortion issues when they intersect with politicians (and it wasn't just Joe.)
