The legal definition of corporate personhood goes back to the 14th amendment and was first ruled in 1886 with subsequent reaffirmations along the way. Lots of luck overturning that one. Unfettered corporate and union advertising fits with the 1st Amendment and the last thing we should have is government governing free speech. In the most recent ruling, government lawyers said that not only should the government control the release of a movie before an election, but that the government also had the right to ban books before an election. McCain Feingold was rightly severly limited.
I see little or no harm if unions and corporations are granted full 1st Amendment rights, as long as there is full disclosure. People are not stupid.

Obama believes he has a winning populist argument, by attacking and taxing the banks. Does anyone not know that the tax will be passed on to consumers thus raising the cost of doing busisness during this "Great Recession". Obama says he is concerned about unemployment, but his war on business says other wise.

If he came out for a two year extension of the Bush tax cuts, as some endangered Democrats are suggesting, he would be more believable.
